Hundreds of car enthusiasts packed into Belfast this afternoon eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Gumball 3000 rally for the first time. David Hasselhoff was amongst those arriving as part of annual rally. The former Baywatch star was pictured as he and the crew arrived into Titanic Belfast on the 3000-mile international celebrity motor rally, which takes place on public roads. The World’s most expensive, impressive and rare automobiles rally start flag dropped in Merrion Square, Dublin at 11am, where the Gumballers gearing up for their trip across the water to Edinburgh, calling at Titanic Belfast along the way. Competitors will race through 11 countries before arriving in Bucharest on May 7. David Hasselhoff, celeb DJ Afrojack, Grammy Award winning rapper Eve and Gumball 3000 race founder Maximillion Cooper were among the celebrities partying at Lillie’s Bordello, Dublin over the weekend. The Hoff took to the mic and gave the packed crowd a rendition of the Baywatch Classic “I’m Always Here”. The cars were paraded in Merrion Square at high noon on Saturday 30th April. Before the race began on Sunday 1st May as the flag came down as the competitors drove to Edinburgh via Belfast to begin a 3000-mile journey across Europe to the edge of Asia. – hotspots.ie
