Syfy announced Tuesday that “Baywatch” star David Hasselhoff has been cast in “Sharknado 3″ as Gilbert Sheperd, the father of Ian Ziering’s character, Fin. The Hoff joins previously announced cast members including Ziering; Tara Reid as April; Cassie Scerbo as Nova; Bo Derek as April’s mother, May; Ryan Newman as April and Fin’s daughter Claudia; and Jack Griffo as Claudia’s friend, Billy.
Other notable guest stars include Mark Cuban as the President of the United States; Ann Coulter as the Vice President; Jerry Springer as Mr. White, a manic tourist; *NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick as a pool lifeguard, and WWE star Chris Jericho, who will portray Bruce the roller coaster ride operator. “Sharknado 3″ premieres on Syfy in July, causing mass destruction in Washington, D.C., before roaring down the Eastern Seaboard and into Florida.
