SharkWatch Out Tomorrow

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

“When I went to South Africa a few months ago, we had a great film crew with us and filmed some amazing underwater footage for The Underwater Channel. The film, called SharkWatch, will be available to view tomorrow, 9/9/09 on their website, www.theunderwaterchannel.tv. We had such an amazing and life changing experience; it IS scary to have a tiger shark swim straight at you with no cage, but I’ve learned that courage isn’t having no fear; it’s feeling the fear and overcoming it.

I hope you all get to watch this amazing footage.”

A few months back, I told you all about how Hayley was involved with a group of her friends that wanted to raise money for the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. They threw a party called The Bash and man, was it an amazing success. They raised over $150,000, can you believe that?! Everybody knows I’m proud of my girls anyway, but this makes me even more so.
You can go to www.childrenshospitalla.org if you want to donate or get involved. The kids there and at every children’s hospital need so much extra love and care that it would be great if we could help them feel a little better.

Peace and respect,

DH

Recording With Patricia Lewis

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Many of you know, I recently got back from South Africa where I was diving with tiger sharks and recording a couple of songs with my great friend Patricia Lewis. Patricia has recently been diagnosed with some tumors on her vocal chords and I wanted to go down to see her and sing with her in case I never have the opportunity to work with her and her amazing talent again.

We had a blast and I hope soon you will all be able to here the songs we did but in the meantime take a look at some of the videos we made down there. I wish patricia all the best and I ask you all to keep her in your prayers as she goes through surgery. I also wanna thank her and her husband Mark for looking after us so well down there…
Respect, DH

Baywatch set for big-screen comedy remake

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

“Legendary sexy TV show Baywatch is set to be reworked for the big screen - as a tongue-in-cheek comedy movie….It became a global smash hit, and was noted as the most watched TV show in the world, attracting more than 1.1 billion viewers.

There have since been constant rumours the show was to be transformed into a feature film - and Paramount bosses have now confirmed Hollywood writer Jeremy Garelick is tweaking the screenplay and plans to direct the project himself, according to Daily Variety.

And Garelick believes the plot is perfect to be made into a mainstream comedy.

He says, “It felt like the template to do a movie that was similar to ‘Stripes’ and ‘Police Academy,’ the comedies I loved growing up.

“Rather than trying to pitch the tone, I figured it would be easier to write the first act to convey who these characters were.”
None of the original cast will star in the movie, although it is rumoured Hasselhoff and Anderson will make cameo appearances.” - tiscali.co.uk Article
